Double Take & an ANNOUNCEMENT!

  

Does this look Familiar?

That's because it is! For today's look I decided to take my 4th of July nail design and make it less, well, 4th of July-ish. Here are the looks side by side so you can compare the designs.

 

 

 

As you can see, I changed the colors and tweaked the design a little. On the ring finger, I got rid of the flag, and instead, added some flowers and polka dots to the upper portion of the nail. On the pinky, rather than using an all glitter polish, I opted for a white base coat and threw some glitter on it. Other than that, the design stayed the exact same.

 

I think that sometimes when we see a design that is holiday specific, say a Halloween design, we tend to think that mani is reserved for that specific occasion only. But if we think outside the box a little, we can change it to make it appropriate for whatever you want!

 

I need to give a shout out to my little sister for being my hand model today. I have a feeling you will be seeing her nails more often. *yay!*
